The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) uses the MHS Genesis Patient Portal to offer medical care to its students and faculty. Part of the MHS Genesis electronic health record (EHR) system, it is used by the military to keep track of patient medical histories.

With the MHS Genesis Patient Portal, USAFA members and their families can safely and easily access their medical records, lab results, and medication information from any internet-connected device, 24/7. Through the portal, patients may make appointments, ask for refills on medications, and communicate securely with their doctors.

The goals of the MHS Genesis Patient Portal are to enhance patient participation and communication, boost operational effectiveness, and simplify the process of providing medical care. This resource is very important for helping USAF beneficiaries make informed decisions about their health care and getting patients more involved, which can help everyone’s health.

As a patient at USAFA, here is how you can log into the MHS Genesis Patient Portal:

  • Click here to access the MHS Genesis Patient Portal: https://patientportal.mhsgenesis.health.mil/.
  • Select “DoD Self-Service Logon (DS Logon)” from the “Sign In” menu.
  • Use your DS Logon credentials to sign in. On the same page, you can sign up for a DS Logon account if you don’t already have one.
  • After logging in, you’ll have access to your medical records and be able to communicate with your care team.

If you have trouble getting into or using the MHS Genesis Patient Portal or if you have questions about your medical records, you should talk to your healthcare provider or the USAFA Military Treatment Facility.
